Reports: PGA Moving Headquarters to Frisco

There is some exciting news brewing near ArrowBrooke in Frisco! Already home to an array of professional sports teams including the Dallas Stars, Frisco RoughRiders, FC Dallas, Texas Legends and the Dallas Cowboys’ state-of-the-art practice facility, new reports indicate another giant name in professional sports is eyeing a move to Frisco: the PGA.

Golf.com reports the PGA of America is planning to move its national headquarters from West Palm Beach, Florida to the Panther Creek development in Frisco, which is only 15 minutes away from ArrowBrooke.

Not only would the PGA Headquarters be based in Frisco, but our area would also host the PGA Championships and Ryder Cups on a new semi-public championship golf course expected to be open by 2020. Golf.com also reports another 9-hole course is part of the plan as well as a PGA Teaching Academy.

Located just north of Frisco along the US 380 corridor, ArrowBrooke residents would be close to all of the action in the booming suburb!
